The Infinix Note 60 Pro has a premium, highlighted design with a unique Active Matrix Display on the back. So, you can show smart notifications, animated “pixel pets” (like cats and dogs), or even play mini-games.

    Infinix Note 60 Pro

This phone’s design is almost similar to the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max. So, if you can spend over a lakh rupees, buy the Note 60 Pro for a similar feel. Despite its massive battery, the phone is remarkably thin at 7.36mm (or 7.45mm depending on the variant). It also features an aerospace-grade aluminium frame and a 3D curved front display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i

Talking about its display, it comes with 6.78 inches AMOLED 3D curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits.

On the other hand, the Infinix GT 30 Pro keeps the brand’s focus on gaming with a new design called Cyber Mecha 2.0. The back of the phone has special light panels that can change colours (RGB LEDs) and light up for notifications, charging status, and events in games. The phone is slim, measuring only 7.99mm thick, and it weighs 188g. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass 7i to protect against accidental damage and has an IP64 rating, making it dust-tight and splash-resistant.

The phone has a large 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, which makes colours look really bright and sharp. It has a 144Hz refresh rate, meaning it can display images very smoothly. The bezels around the screen are very thin, so almost the entire front of the phone is screen, giving it a 93.7% screen-to-body ratio.

Infinix Note 60 Pro takes the lead. The premium iPhone-like design and unique Active Matrix LED back panel give it a more standout and refined look.

The Infinix Note 60 Pro features a dual-rear camera system with a 50MP wide and 8MP ultrawide lens, with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). The device focuses on high-resolution photography and 4K video capabilities for both its front and rear cameras. This phone also has a 13MP front camera as well for amazing selfies. You will also get a few camera modes like Super Night mode, Vlog mode, Dual Video (simultaneous front/rear recording), and AI-assisted portrait modes.

Moving battery, The Infinix Note 60 Pro has a large 6,500mAh battery. It can charge quickly with a 90W wired charger or a 30W wireless charger. So it can offer 6.5 to 7+ hours of screen-on time on a single charge. It also supports slower charging options: 7.5W wired and 5W wireless, which can be used to charge other devices.

The Infinix GT30 Pro has a great camera setup. It features a 108MP main camera for very clear photos and an 8MP ultrawide camera for wider shots. Although it is mainly designed for gaming, it also offers strong photo features, such as 4K video at 60 fps and specialised modes for different scenes. Plus, there’s a 13MP front-facing camera for taking wonderful selfies.

    Infinix GT 30 Pro

Talking about battery life, the Infinix GT 30 Pro has a 5,500 mAh battery that lasts a long time. This means it can usually last about 13 to 14 hours with normal use. For most people, it will comfortably last all day, giving around 7 hours of screen time. However, if you use it a lot for gaming, you might need to charge it before the day is over.

Infinix Note 60 Pro wins again. It offers more consistent camera performance and a larger 6,500mAh battery with faster charging, making it better for daily use.

Infinix Note 60 Pro vs Infinix GT 30 Pro: Performance And Software

Performance is a key factor in deciding which phone to buy. The Infinix Note 60 Pro comes with the Qualcomm SM7635-AC Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 (4 nm) chipset, and the Infinix GT 30 Pro has the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate (4 nm) chipset. In this scenario, Dimensity 8350 clearly leads in benchmark scores, with 20 per cent higher AnTuTu scores, and offers higher clock speeds and faster sustained performance.

But Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 offers better battery efficiency and stable, optimised performance. This is also more focued to deliver camera consistency & efficiency. That’s why I told you earlier that Infinix Note 60 Pro offers stable performance and better camera results, but Infinix GT 30 Pro can be the top choice of gamers due to its peak performance.

Both phones come with the same software support, Infinix XOS 16, while the Infinix GT 30 Pro has XOS 15 but is upgradable to XOS 16. It delivers a groundbreaking innovation by introducing the novel “Glow Space” theme that emphasises fluid animations, glass effects, and an elegant appearance.

What stands out about this update is the introduction of artificial intelligence features, including Mind Hub for intelligent notes and reminders, intelligent wallpaper creation, and capabilities for editing images, audio, and documents.

For gaming enthusiasts, Infinix XOS 16 boosts gaming performance with XBoost mode, 144FPS support, and bypass charging. Moreover, to boost productivity, users can benefit from smarter shortcuts, enhanced multitasking, and faster content sharing.

So, Infinix GT 30 Pro wins here. The Dimensity 8350 Ultimate delivers higher benchmark scores and better sustained performance, making it ideal for heavy users and gamers.

    Verdict

In gaming and performance, the Infinix GT 30 Pro comes out on top with its Dimensity 8350 Ultimate processor, higher clock speeds, and special gaming features such as shoulder triggers and bypass charging.

Nonetheless, if one desires a more general-purpose smartphone for daily use, the Infinix Note 60 Pro is the ideal pick due to its larger battery, more consistent performance, better camera quality, and better overall design.

With nearly identical pricing for both phones, it all boils down to choosing between one that focuses on performance and gaming and another that focuses on battery life and design.
