The list of Android 17 cancelled devices is starting to emerge as smartphone brands prepare to roll out Google’s latest operating system. After Google released the stable Android 17 update for eligible Pixel phones, Vivo is expected to begin testing and releasing its own version with OriginOS 7 in the coming months.
However, not every Vivo and iQOO smartphone will receive the new software. Several flagship, mid range, and budget models have reportedly reached the end of their promised software support and are unlikely to get the Android 17-based OriginOS 7 update.
Android 17 Cancelled Devices: Vivo Phones That Miss Out

According to the brand’s current software update policy, the following Vivo smartphones have already received all the major Android updates they were promised. As a result, they are not expected to receive Android 17.

It is important to note that this list is based on Vivo’s current software update policy. While it is expected to be accurate, Vivo has not officially confirmed the final rollout list. Some devices without a published update policy may also miss the Android 17 update.
Also, Vivo is expected to introduce OriginOS 7 globally in October, with the stable rollout likely to begin in November. The update is expected to bring deeper AI integration, improved customisation, better performance, enhanced stability, and several new features.
Users whose phones appear in the Android 17 cancelled devices list may want to consider upgrading to newer models such as the Vivo X300 or iQOO 15, both of which are expected to receive up to five major Android OS updates.
