Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is approaching 50 million downloads, and the game’s developer, Krafton, has introduced a rewards event to celebrate the achievement. The game, which is the Indian version of PUBG Mobile, was officially launched on July 2, but many gamers have had access to it since mid-June. The game’s downloads have been constantly increasing, and it is now approaching 50 million on the Google Play store, despite the fact that it is currently only available for Android users.

BGMI 50 Million Downloads Rewards Event

In celebration of achieving 50 million downloads for Battlegrounds Mobile India, Krafton has announced a 50M Downloads Rewards Event. The event includes three milestones: 48 million, 49 million, and eventually 50 million downloads. Players will receive three pieces of Supply Coupon Crate Scrap after reaching 48 million downloads, three pieces of Classic Coupon Crate Scrap after reaching 49 million downloads, and a Galaxy Messenger Set outfit as a permanent reward after reaching 50 million downloads.

Players can find the rewards in the events area of the game. The rewards will unlock immediately whenever Battlegrounds Mobile India accomplishes certain milestones. The reward for 50 million downloads will be available to redeem for one month. Interestingly, Krafton states that it is “preparing for all Indian players to earn awards regardless of their OS”; implying that users will be able to collect these milestone benefits once the game launches on iOS.

Battlegrounds Mobile India is getting an iOS version, but it’s unclear when that will happen. However, the developer’s Instagram post includes an Apple emoji, implying that the game will be released on iOS soon. Battlegrounds Mobile India currently has 46 million downloads. Given its current rate of growth, it won’t be long until it surpasses the 48 million mark.
