Season 5 of Call of Duty: Mobile is set to launch on June 29th (UTC) following Season 4: Spurned & Burned ends the day before. Before the next season begins, there is always a game update to introduce new content, however, the exact date has yet to be announced.

What We Expect From COD Mobile Season 5

New Maps

A tweak for Shipment is the very first major teaser we’ve seen. Shipment is likely to get a fresh design and this appears to be bathed in a sunset.

The creators had previously stated that the iconic Nuketown map could be returning to the game.
In the Chinese beta, a monastery map has appeared. Some elements only appear in the Chinese edition and aren’t seen elsewhere, but it could be possible to see that in an upcoming update.

New Weapons

With the patch update, a completely new assault rifle, the CR-56 AMAX, might be added to the game. It’s a light gun that can bring down an enemy in three chest bullets or two headshots, making it lethal in mid-range battle.

New Game Modes

There hasn’t been much spoken about what to anticipate in COD Mobile Season 5, although there are some old rumors floating about. Activision has announced that the zombies’ map, Shi No Numa, will return to Call of Duty Mobile in China and that zombies will return to Call of Duty Mobile “later this year.” Zombies may return in the future, according to the company, and now we know for sure: it’s in the Chinese beta, with China getting it first, it appears.
