Sony announced three new games for PlayStation Plus subscribers in February. Planet Coaster: Console Edition, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure and EA Sports UFC 4 round out the list. On February 1, 2022, the first PlayStation Store update of the month will make all three titles available.

UFC 4 is the latest instalment in EA Sports’ MMA series, released in 2020. In Planet Coaster: Console Edition, you can design and build your theme park. However, when it comes to Borderlands 2, the stand-alone Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure mode features fantasy battles and cooperative play. It arrives on PlayStation Plus in March 2022, just ahead of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.

If you haven’t downloaded this month’s PS Plus freebies yet, you have until the end of January to do so. These titles include Persona 5 Strikers, Dirt 5, and Deep Rock Galactic.

Sony may be trying to acquire EA, Take-Two or Ubisoft in the wake of Microsoft’s proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard.

February 2022 PlayStation Plus Free Games Schedule

February 1, 2022, through the 28, 2022:

EA Sports UFC 4

EA Sports UFC 4 puts you in the middle of every fight, regardless of how or where you play. Using a single progression system for all modes, you can build and customise your character.

Make your way up the ranks in the new Career Mode, or take on the world in new Blitz Battles or Online World Championships. In addition to improved responsiveness and authenticity in the stand-up phase of the fight, fluid clinch-to-strike combos offer improved control over the takedown and ground phases.

Tiny Tina’s Assault

Tiny Tina's Assualt

In this first Wonderlands adventure, you’ll fight skeletons, dragons, and golems inspired by Borderlands. This stand-alone campaign recreates the acclaimed 2013 quest that got it all started, complete with fantasy, fun, and a tonne of magical items! Co-op and solo play are available in the game.

It features six different Vault Hunters, each with unique abilities and powerful builds. So naturally, you’ll need powerful weapons to blast your way through dangerous forests, eerie crypts, and fearsome fortresses. Tina’s gleefully chaotic whims can change your journey in an instant, so be prepared.

February 2022 PlayStation Plus Games – Leaks and Predictions

Life is Strange: Remastered Collection

Life is Strange

Sony likes to include a first-day-of-the-month release in their PlayStation Plus offerings, which is why this one will be available on February 1. It also makes sense to give the remastered version of Life Is Strange to PS Plus subscribers since it was given out to subscribers in June 2017.

If you’ve never played Life is Strange: Before the Storm, it’s worth noting that it’s included in the Remastered Collection, as well. Take a look at the trailer below if you don’t know what this game is about, as it may not be suitable for everyone.

Shadow Warrior 2

PlayStation Plus

Sony also likes to give us a prequel to a game when the sequel is about to be released as part of the PS Plus subscription. So it makes sense to provide us with Shadow Warrior 2 for free now to build up the little hype there currently is for Shadow Warrior 3’s March 2022 release date. Also, it’s worth noting that Shadow Warrior is a male-cringe-power fantasy, so don’t take the game too seriously.

Nioh 2

For February 2022, this could be the PS5’s free PS Plus game, and it would be the only genuinely excellent PS Plus game. Nioh 2 is a fantastic game, and since it was released for the PlayStation 5 a year ago in February, what better way to commemorate the occasion than to give it away for free?

Although I doubt you’ve never heard of Nioh, here’s a little background info for you. In many ways, it’s similar to the Souls series, and some even think it’s better.

Highlights of the Story

  • PlayStation wants to provide PlayStation Plus subscribers with even more value.
  • If you’re a PlayStation Plus member, you’ll get three games for free next month. One for the PlayStation 5 and two others for the PlayStation 4.
  • Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep is probably the best choice for most players. Unless, of course, you’re a fan of UFC or management sims.
