OnePlus 9T Leaks Surface Online, May Include 120Hz LTPO OLED Display
After the OnePlus 9 series launch back in March, the brand is preparing to bring the OnePlus 9T soon. On the other hand, the brand is also preparing to launch OnePlus Nord CE 5G in few days. Now, information has started to trickle in about the company launching another phone very soon. Moreover, the specifications have leaked online by a tipster before the official announcements. It will be the successor to the OnePlus 8T that launched last year. The leaks of the device have surfaced on Weibo. It also mentions that there will not be another phone beside it – meaning the T-Pro variant.

As is tradition and history, the brand always launches a T-variant of its flagship phones typically around six months after the release of the flagship series. OnePlus 9T can launch sometime in October considering the previous launches of the T-variants. Let us look at what these leaks show about this variant that can launch soon:
OnePlus 9T Display Specifications Tipped
According to the leak on Weibo, it will feature a Samsung LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz variable refresh rate. The phone will be using a Samsung E4 LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz variable refresh rate and full HD+ resolution. We can expect a curved display with up to 1080p FHD+ resolution compared to a 1440p resolution as seen on the OnePlus 9 Pro. Additionally, the tipster on Weibo claims there will be no OnePlus 9T Pro this year. Furthermore, it makes a lot of sense considering OnePlus stated last year that it did not see the need for a OnePlus 8T Pro as the OnePlus 8 Pro offered all the necessary Pro features.
Apart from this, there is some information available about the features of the OnePlus 9T. As per leaks, the upcoming 9T is expected to bring a number of new features, including the premium ones on the OnePlus 9 Pro. The phone is also tipped to be cheaper than the OnePlus 9 Pro. However, it will still be more expensive than the OnePlus 9. This is just as much we have on the device. We will find more on the device as leaks start surfacing online considering its nearing launch timeline.
Meanwhile, we can expect it to have a Snapdragon 888 or Snapdragon 888+ (Pro) platform, which will be paired with at least 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of constant storage. The phone will also bring support for wireless charging.
