Oppo Reno 6Z Launched with Dimensity 800U Chipset in Thailand

OPPO Reno 6Z has silently launched in Thailand as a successor to the Reno5 Z from last year. We know it is the latest addition to the Reno6 series that includes the Reno 6, Reno 6 Pro and Reno 6 Pro+. However, the Reno6 Z is a mid-range offering from the company. Moreover, it comes with an identical design to that of Reno 6. Let’s take a look at the detailed specifications of the device ahead:

In terms of pricing, OPPO Thailand is yet to reveal the price of the Reno 6Z 5G. Although, in Vietnam website, it shows an expected price tag of VND 9,490,000 (Rs30,811). As of now, it comes in Aurora and Stellar Black color options.

OPPO Reno 6Z 5G Specifications

It sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate, and punch-hole cutout. Additionally, it runs on Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 custom skin out of the box

Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC. In addition, it comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage. The phone has 5GB of expandable virtual RAM for better multitasking.

In terms of optics, the OPPO Reno 6Z features a triple camera setup on the back, with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro camera. There is a 32MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats. In addition, there is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

Furthermore, it packs a 4,310mAh battery with 30W VOOC 4.0 fast-charging support. Connectivity features could include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
