Redmi is working on a Xiaomi Redmi K50 Ultra version. It’ll have a 2K resolution OLED touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate, according to rumours. The Redmi K50 tipped smartphone is likely to be out in the second half of this year. Xiaomi has yet to confirm the device. In March of this year, Redmi debuted the K50 and Xiaomi Redmi K50 Pro 5G in China. The rumoring smartphone is claiming to be the series’ flagship model.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo, Redmi is working on a new flagship smartphone in the Redmi K50 series that will be out in the second half of this year.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC will power the smartphone. Phoneset may feature a 2K resolution OLED touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Dolby Vision compatibility and 100W fast charging are reportedly anticipating to come in the rumoured smartphone.
Redmi announced two new smartphones in the K50 series, the Redmi K50 and Redmi K50 Pro, in China in March. The new Redmi K50 Ultra smartphone is to be the line’s flagship model.

The Redmi K50 Pro, as previously stated, had a 6.67-inch OLED 2K resolution display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone’s display will be safe with the Gorilla Glass Victus and could produce up to 1,200 nits of maximum brightness. A 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC powered the phone.
A 100-megapixel 1/1.52-inch primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro lens were all found on the smartphone’s rear. It has a 20-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls.
Although Xiaomi has yet to announce the Redmi K50 Ultra’s characteristics and features, the smartphone is likely to have comparable specs to the Redmi K50 Pro, but with some performance upgrades and a higher price tag.
