Xiaomi is preparing to introduce the Xiaomi 13 series of smartphones in China. The Xiaomi 13 series, which includes the Xiaomi 13 and the Xiaomi 13 Pro , will be available in the country on December 11th, along with the Xiaomi Buds 4 and the Xiaomi Watch S2. The company has released a promotional video for the Xiaomi 13 Pro that shows off its back design in all its glory. With the video, the company also previewed the Xiaomi 13 Pro’s durability qualities, as the Xiaomi 13 Pro will be an IP68-rated smartphone.

The promo video shows the device’s green colour version from the back. The smartphone will have three back cameras, with the Leica logo inscribed in the fourth quadrant of the camera island. The 13 Pro will have a curved display and a curved back.

Moreover, the video also shows how the gadget can readily tolerate water, dust, and temperature changes. If the video is any indication, the gadget will be a relatively durable premium smartphone. For those unaware, the vanilla Xiaomi 13 is also likely to be IP68-rated, implying that the Xiaomi 13 would have the same degree of durability.

Expected Specifications of Xiaomi 13 Pro

The smartphone will feature a 120Hz refresh rate 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display. Furthermore, the device will power the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which will likely be coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

In terms of cameras, the 13 Pro will have a 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup. Moreover, the smartphone will have a 32-megapixel front camera. Coming to the OS, the smartphone will support Android 13-based MIUI 14 skin out of the box. Additionally, the gadget will feature a 4,800mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.
