Realme Neo7 SE Launch in India

Realme has launched the Neo7 SE in China along with Realme Neo7x 5G. It features the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Max chipset, a 50MP dual-camera setup, and a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. Realme Neo7 SE Price in India

Realme Neo 7 SE price is CNY 1,799 (approx. Rs. 22,000). This price is for the 8GB RAM plus 256GB storage option.

There are three more options, one with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, second with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage and the top-of-the-line model comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The price for these variants is CNY 1,899 (approx Rs. 23,000), CNY 2,199 (approx. Rs. 26,000), and CNY 2,499 (approx Rs. 30,000), respectively.

Right now, it is available in China in Blue Mecha, Dark Armored Cavalry and White Winged God of War colour options.

Realme Neo7 SE Design

For design, this smartphone features an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, Hi-Res audio, and OReality Audio. It is built with a 7,700mm² single-layer VC vapour chamber to help with heat management. The device comes with an IP69/IP68/IP66 rating for water and dust resistance. The Blue colour variant has a 3D micro-convex mecha texture, while the power button stands out with an orange accent.

In the display section, you get a 6.78-inch FHD+ 8T LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by crystal armour glass and offers a peak brightness of 1,600 nits, with 6,000 nits HDR brightness for enhanced visibility. TUV Rheinland certification is also included for eye comfort.

Realme Neo7 SE Performance

This smartphone uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-MAX chipset, coupled with a Mali-G720 GPU for graphics. It is available in different configurations, including 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 16GB/512GB. The phone runs on Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0 on top.

On the camera front, the Realme Neo7 SE includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera, which is a downgrade from the 32MP sensor on the on the Realme Neo 6 SE.

In terms of battery, the Neo7 SE now packs a 7,000mAh cell, which is an upgrade over the previous 5,500mAh capacity. However, the fast charging speed has been reduced from 100W to 80W.

Realme Neo7 SE Verdict

With a larger battery and a new chipset, the Realme Neo7 SE brings some improvements, but it also makes a few compromises, such as a lower-resolution front camera and slower charging. It is more of an incremental update rather than a complete overhaul.
