Samsung Galaxy A27 Price in India and Variants
Samsung Galaxy A27 5G is available in India in three variants. The base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at ₹31,999, while the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs ₹34,999. The top-end 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model is priced at ₹40,499.

I’m using the Light Green colour, which I personally liked the most. You can also buy the phone in Black and Light Pink colour options. Samsung is also offering ₹3,000 cashback on selected payments, which can make the effective price slightly lower.

Samsung Galaxy A27 Design and Build
Samsung Galaxy A27 comes with a beautiful design in Samsung’s signature style, with a vertically placed camera setup on the back, similar to the Samsung Galaxy S26 series.

I’m using the light green colour, and it looks beautiful with a glass back, which is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+, with the same protection on the front glass.

One unexpected thing happened during my Samsung Galaxy A27 review: I was taking photo samples in drizzling conditions when the phone accidentally slipped from my hand and fell on the road. Thanks to the Victus+ protection, the back and front display did not get any scratches. However, due to the plastic frame, the corner got a slight dent, which is hardly visible from a bit of distance.

This phone weighs 200 grams and has body dimensions of 162.4 x 78.2 x 7.8 mm. So, it fits perfectly in a single hand. You can even see a hollow spot near the power button to comfortably place your thumb for single-handed use.

The Samsung Galaxy A27 also has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, which protects it from splashes only.

Moving on to the ports, you can see the power and volume buttons placed on the right side, while the left side houses the SIM tray slot.

On the other hand, there is a microphone on the top, while a single speaker and Type-C port are placed at the bottom. Overall, I loved the design, thanks to its premium look.
Samsung Galaxy A27 Camera
Samsung Galaxy A27 has a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP wide, 5MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro sensor. Its camera quality is decent and much more exciting compared to Chinese phones.
Why am I saying this? Samsung stays true to its core value of providing raw, natural, and close-to-reality images with minimal AI intervention in the final results. On the other hand, Chinese brands are focusing more on saturation, adding extra colours, and smoothness through AI intervention to deliver social media-ready results without much depth.

At this time, social media has become an essential part of life, and everyone is sharing their images on social media.

Overall, the results are decent. I clicked a few images, and they look natural, with no extra saturation added to the final results. In bright conditions, this phone performs well, while in low-light conditions, the results are more pixelated.

The same is the case with portrait mode. In bright conditions, this phone picked up proper edges, and the results looked more interesting. Especially, you can see the flower images, which look amazing, and the edge detection was also impressive.

Similarly, you can see a few images where the edge detection was uneven. But overall, I noticed a lack of depth and sharpness in the final results, but the price is also a factor here.
Moving on to the front camera, it comes with a 12MP sensor, which is quite similar to the rear camera in terms of results. It offers better camera results in perfect lighting conditions, but in harsh situations, the phone struggles to deliver better results.

Its video quality is amazing. During my Samsung Galaxy A27 review, I recorded a few videos, and you can get the best results in FHD at 30fps, with amazing colours and stabilisation. I also recorded a few videos in UHD, and the results were decent.
In HD video mode, you can record up to 10X zoom, while other modes only support 1X. A few other modes are also available, such as Hyper Slow-mo, Slow-mo, Timelapse, etc.
Samsung Galaxy A27 Battery and Charging
Samsung Galaxy A27 comes with a 5000mAh battery, which is enough to provide a full day of backup with normal usage. During my Samsung Galaxy A27 review, I used the phone for regular tasks such as browsing social media, watching YouTube videos, taking photos, and making calls. With this type of use, the phone comfortably lasted all day.

When I used the phone for gaming and other demanding tasks, the battery drained slightly faster, which is expected. However, I did not face any major battery-related issues during my usage. The phone also manages battery consumption well during standby, so you don’t have to worry much about unnecessary battery drain.
Moving on to charging, the Samsung Galaxy A27 supports 25W wired charging. I mostly used an Apple 20W charger to charge the phone. The charging speed is decent, but compared to some Chinese brands in this price segment, Samsung could have offered faster charging. Overall, the battery performance is reliable for everyday use, but charging speed could have been better.
Samsung Galaxy A27 Display
Samsung Galaxy A27 comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. During my Samsung Galaxy A27 review, I found the display to be one of the better parts of the phone.

The colours look vibrant, while the viewing experience remains smooth during scrolling, watching videos, and browsing social media.

The phone also supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which makes animations and scrolling feel smoother. I used the phone for watching YouTube videos and other content, and the display delivered a good overall experience. The viewing angles are also decent, and I didn’t face any major issues while using the phone outdoors.

I also used the Samsung Galaxy A27 under direct sunlight, and the display remained reasonably visible. Overall, Samsung has done a good job with the display, especially if you prefer vibrant colours and a smooth viewing experience.

Samsung Galaxy A27 Performance
Samsung Galaxy A27 comes with a Qualcomm SM6475-AB Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 (4 nm) chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. During my Samsung Galaxy A27 review, I used the phone for regular tasks like browsing, social media, watching videos, and switching between multiple applications. The overall performance was smooth, and I didn’t notice any major lag during my daily usage.

I also played a few Freefire and BGMI games on the phone to check how it performs under a heavier workload. The phone handled gameplay decently, and I never experienced any heating issues during gaming, thanks to Qualcomm’s far better heat management compared to Exynos-powered phones.
For regular users, the Samsung Galaxy A27 offers enough performance for everyday tasks. App opening and switching between applications feel smooth, and the phone doesn’t feel slow during normal usage. However, if you are looking for a phone mainly for heavy gaming, there are other options in this price range that may offer better raw performance.
Samsung Galaxy A27 Software and UI
Samsung Galaxy A27 runs on Android 16 with Samsung’s One UI 8.5. As someone who has used Samsung phones before, I really like the overall UI experience. The animations are smooth, the interface feels clean, and there are plenty of customisation options available.

During my Samsung Galaxy A27 review, I used the phone for regular daily tasks, and the UI felt smooth throughout. Scrolling through menus, opening applications, and switching between apps were all handled well. You can also customise the home screen, icons, widgets, and other elements to suit your preferences.

One of the biggest advantages of Samsung phones is their long-term software support. It comes with six year software and seven security updates. This makes the Samsung Galaxy A27 a better option for someone who plans to use the phone for several years.

Samsung also offers several AI and smart features, including Circle to Search and other useful tools. I found these features helpful during regular usage, especially when searching for something directly from the screen.

Overall, One UI remains one of my favourite Android interfaces. It feels polished, easy to use, and offers plenty of features without making the overall experience complicated.

The A27 offers a well-balanced experience with its premium design, natural camera results, good display, reliable battery life, and smooth One UI experience. For its price, Samsung has managed to bring together most of the things I look for in a daily-use smartphone, making the Galaxy A27 a strong overall package.
