    About the Mobile Phone

The Galaxy A52 is a member of the A-series, and it was released with the Galaxy A72. The Samsung Galaxy A52 features a large 6.5-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a hole-punch design. It also features a quick refresh rate of 90Hz. The construction is primarily made of plastic, which is not the case with its competitors. The Galaxy A52 is IP67 certified, and a rubber cover around the SIM tray keeps water and dust out. The smartphone has a 4,500mAh battery and is small enough to be used with one hand. The battery is capable of rapid charging at 25W, however, the included charger is just 15W.
    The Galaxy A52 features a quad-camera arrangement on the rear, which includes a 64-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor.

    Pros

    • 6.47-inch Super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate
    • Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset
    • 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage
    • IP67 dust and water resistance
    • 64MP Quad-rear camera setup
    • 32MP selfie camera
    • 4500 mAh battery

    Cons

    • No wireless charging
    • Only 15W charger in the box
    • No 5G connectivity

There has been a lot of success for the mid-range smartphones launched by Samsung for many years now. In 2019, Samsung brought Galaxy A52 to the market and it became the best seller for the brand. Now Samsung has come up with another device, Samsung Galaxy A52, for continuing the streak of bringing the best mid-range smartphones year after year. According to the brand, the Samsung Galaxy A52 is following the same formula as in earlier devices for replicating the success. Let us sneak into Samsung Galaxy A52 for knowing all the specifications before going for it.

Samsung Galaxy A52 Price in India

In the Global market, Samsung features two variants of the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G. The first variant comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and the second variant comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The Global pricing for the 6GB RAM variant is $499.99 and for the 8GB RAM variant, the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G is priced at $488.99. In India, the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G price is expected to start from Rs. 34,990. The actual pricing will be updated once the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G gets unwrapped in India.

The most significant improvement from last year’s A-Series is in the design language itself. This time Samsung has gone with a smooth matte finish and revert camera module, which seems to be influenced by the company’s own Galaxy S21 series. So it makes a unique statement for itself in terms of appearance.

Additionally, Samsung Galaxy A52 comes in a range of beautiful colour choices, making it a very enticing handset. The lightweight build quality is also fascinating and the bigger plus point in terms of design for Samsung Galaxy A52 is its IP67 dust and water resistance, which is rarely seen in smartphones from the same price range. Overall, Samsung has nailed the design side of things, especially considering the phones demographics.

There is a healthy upgrade in the display of Samsung Galaxy A52. It has a 6.47-inches FHD Super AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. As a result, browsing the web and scrolling through the UI is going to be a treat. There is Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front, which is good enough. It would have been much better if there would have been a 120Hz refresh rate screen since there is already the cheaper Redmi Note 10 series in the market with a higher 120Hz refresh rate. Overall, this display looks excellent with great colours and contrast. The display can go up to 800nits bright, so viewing content even in a sunny environment is not a problem.

The 4G variant of the Samsung Galaxy A52 comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G. Compared to Exynos 9611, the Snapdragon 720G offers a major jump in performance. The multitasking experience is going to be quite good and you can juggle through multiple apps like Facebook, Spotify and camera simultaneously. In terms of memory, you can choose between 4/6/8GB RAM, while there is only one option for internal storage and that is 128GB.

Samsung Galaxy A52 runs on OneUI 3.1 based on Android 11 out of the box.

Samsung Galaxy A52 features the same set of cameras as the A51, but with an upgraded 64MP sensor. Likewise, there is a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, a 5MP macro and a 5MP depth-sensing camera. Apart from this Samsung has been generous enough to include OIS on the primary camera this time around. Most of the devices get only EIS around this price point, so it’s quite stunning to have OIS at this price segment. With that, the 4K videos have great stabilization.

On the front, the 32MP selfie shooter remains unchanged. However, the picture quality seems quite improved here.

Samsung Galaxy A52 comes with a 4500 mAh battery under the hood with support for 25W fast charging, which is a decent upgrade over the 4000 mAh battery and 15W charging from the A51. However, unlike the A72, the Samsung Galaxy A52 only ships with a 15W charger inside the box. There is a Type-C charging port at the bottom and also Samsung has retained the 3.5 mm headphone jack in the Samsung Galaxy A52.

Samsung Galaxy A52 comes with a decent processor and features a huge battery backup along with a nice set of cameras. If 5G is not your priority and you wish to have a stylish smartphone with overall great performance, then you can consider the Samsung Galaxy A52 smartphone.
