Vivo Y75 5G Launch in India

On Thursday, the Vivo Y75 5G smartphone was unveiled in India. A teaser for the device was released by the Chinese smartphone maker earlier this week, and it has a flat design with rounded edges, as well as a triple back camera configuration with a resolution of 50 MP. It also has an extended RAM function, which, according to the firm, allows users to increase the amount of accessible memory by leveraging previously unutilized inbuilt storage. Apart from this, there is more to explore, so let’s get started.

Vivo Y75 5G Price in India

The Vivo Y75 5G pricing in India has been set at Rs. 21,990, and the smartphone will be offered in a single configuration with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. According to Vivo, the smartphone will be available in two colour options: Glowing Galaxy and Starlight Black, and it is currently available for purchase on the Vivo India E-store and at partner retail outlets.

    Vivo Y75 5G Design

If there is something interesting in terms of design, it is the weight and the thickness of the Vivo Y75 5G. The smartphone weighs 187 grams and measures 8.25 mm in thickness, although, there is a large battery inside. So the in-hand feel is going to be awesome here. Furthermore, there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which is placed ergonomically, making it easy to operate. However, there should have been a punch-hole design on the front to make it an attractive and competitive device. The dew-drop notch is an outdated feature nowadays.

    Vivo Y75 5G Display

The Vivo Y75 5G display measures 6.58-inches and the display supports FHD+ resolution. Apart from this, the other parameters are a 90.6% screen-to-body ratio, 20:9 aspect ratio and a 96% NTSC wide colour gamut. Overall, the display is quite average and doesn’t support higher refresh rates and also there is no support for HDR10+.

    Vivo Y75 5G Performance

The device comes powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, which is a 5G capable processor and which means the Vivo Y75 5G is capable of running on 5G networks. Also, there is 8GB RAM along with a 4GB RAM extension feature, which is amazing and you’ll be able to use a part of your internal storage as RAM for more smooth operation. Also, there is 128GB of internal storage, which can be extended up to 1TB. As for the operating system, the device runs on Funtouch OS 12.0.

    Vivo Y75 5G Camera

The camera setup is basic here, although, there is a large 50MP primary rear sensor. You’ll be mostly relying on this sensor since the other two 2MP sensors are almost useless. Vivo should have added an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens instead. On the front, there is a capable 16MP selfie camera that will let you click some decent shots. Overall the camera setup is quite average here and there is nothing to cheer about.

    Vivo Y75 5G Battery

Vivo Y75 5G is a solid device in terms of battery capacity. Yes, there is a large 5000 mAh battery that is capable of managing the power requirements for atleast two days, which is a good thing. However, there is only 18W fast charging, which means it’ll take you a lot of time to refill the battery. For connecting the charger, there is a Type-C charging port.

    Vivo Y75 5G Verdict

Vivo Y75 5G features a 5G chipset, which is amazing along with a large 5000 mAh battery and the overall design is sleek, which makes it comfortable to hold. It would have been much better if the camera and display featured much better specifications. If you are looking for an overall competitive device, then you may look for something else.
