Vivo Y90 Price of India
The Vivo Y90 is available in one model with 16 GB of internal storage and 2 GB of ram. According to the most recent prices on Flipkart, the Vivo Y90 model costs₹7,990 and comes in two colours: Black and Gold. Flipkart presently has both versions available for sale.
Vivo Y90 comes with a bland back which looks almost like a budget phone. It does not have a fingerprint sensor at the back, which makes it a bit dated. However, the matte finish makes the phone look classy. It is quite lightweight and can be comfortably held. On the front, the phone takes a shot at a premium look. It has an almost edge to edge screen with only a water-drop notch, which is not that distracting. Overall, the design of this phone is not attractive though the build quality keeps it top-notch.
The phone arrives with a 6.2-inch IPS LCD screen coming with a resolution of 720 x 1,520 pixels. Plus, the phone comes with a pixel density of 270 PPI. Of course, you won’t be getting the 1080p crispness from this phone, nor will you get the depth that AMOLED screens offer. However, the colors presented on this phone is solid. The white balance is adequate, and the lack of bezels can provide you with an immersive experience.
The phone is fitted with a MediaTek Helio A22 which is paired with a PowerVR GE8300 GPU and 2GB RAM. The processor is quite suitable for light use, which includes social media applications, but there can be a bit of slowing down. Intensive apps and intensive multitasking can freeze the phone and is not recommended. The Helio A22 is a popular processor for budget phones, and it delivers. Gaming can be limited to arcade games – PUBG cannot run properly on this phone. The phone comes with Android 8.1 Oreo, which is quite outdated and will not offer you certain features like Dark Mode.
The Vivo Y90 comes with only one 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The back camera is a poor one on this phone. Since there are no depth-sensors here, you will not get the portrait mode effect. In decent lighting, the shots are ok but not mind-blowing. When the light gets dim, the photos attract a lot of visible grain. The selfie camera can be just all right, but it does not hit the mark since it does not offer the best quality. But since it comes at a budget price, it can be accepted.
The phone has a 4,030mAh battery, which is quite large and can beat many mid-range phones. Plus, it comes with an energy-efficient processor and moderate display screen, which makes the battery run longer. The battery will keep this phone a good companion for you.
The Vivo Y90 is an ultra-budget phone, and it speaks in that level too – with a bland design, and poor camera, the Vivo Y90 does not experiment and keeps the phone cooped as a budget phone. It has excellent performance and a fantastic battery, two things that you require in any phone and looks hardy enough to last long. If you are looking for a second handset or a handset which can help you with the essential tasks of phones, then the Vivo Y90 is the thing for you.
