Earlier this month, Krafton announced the return of PUBG in India n the form of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BMI). However, at the time, the company did not release any detail of the game or its launch. Although it did confirm there will be a pre-registration for the game. Additionally, new leaks also confirm the changes and additions/differences in the new variant compared to PUBG Global. Some of these changes include restrictions on age, spending limit, and more. Now, Krafton has announced that its’ pre-registrations open on May 18.

However, they are opening pre-registration only for Android phones right now, which means you will have to visit Google Play Store on your phone. For iOS, Krafton has not said anything about when registrations will begin on iPhone. Moreover, users who sign up will get special rewards on Battlegrounds Mobile India. They have clearly specified it will be only for Indian users only. They will automatically get the rewards once the game launches.

In order to pre-register users will have to go to Google Play Store and click on the “Pre-Register” button. The rewards will automatically be available to claim once Battlegrounds Mobile India launches. The game will be free to play for all users with in-app purchases, as was previously seen in PUBG Mobile. Let us, on the other hand, look at some of the information which have surfaced on the game until now.

Battlegrounds Mobile India: What We Know

First of all, there will be restrictions for players under the age of 18 years. According to the company, they will need to have to get parental consent to play the game. As per the policy, players under 18 years of age will have to provide the mobile number of their parents to confirm that they are eligible to play the game. In addition, players under the age of 18 will only be able to play the Battlegrounds Mobile India for 3 hours per day and require their parent’s or guardian’s consent. Additionally, the spending limit on paid services is set at INR 7000 per day.

Furthermore, Battlegrounds Mobile India will feature exclusive outfits and events tailored to the needs of local users. The announcement by Krafton claims that it will be working with its partners to bring in content regularly. In addition, they are working on various in-game events and content, like limited edition outfits, to commemorate the game’s release. However, this is not the case for the global version. In terms of privacy, the company will be utilizing Microsoft Azure to ensure data protection and security at every stage. Moreover, the players’ personal data will be on servers located in India and Singapore.
