GTA 6 Trailer Date Announced, Likely To Arrive On This Day

Rockstar Games has finally revealed the release date of its trailer for GTA 6 (Grand Theft Auto VI). After a waiting period of almost ten years, gamers will be able to get their first look at the upcoming game. The Rockstar Games President Sam Houser has announced it will release the trailer for the game next month.

GTA 6 Trailer To Arrive In December

According to a post by Rockstar Games on X (formerly Twitter), the trailer date for GTA 6 will arrive in early December. It will mark the 25th-anniversary celebration of Rockstar Games, and it said, “We look forward to many more of sharing these experiences with all of you.”

Rockstar Games started its journey as a studio in December 1998, although an official announcement occurred on January 22 1999. With the Game Awards on December 7, the company could release the trailer for GTA 6 at the event.

However, Rockstar has not officially confirmed its presence at the event. But new trailers and games are usually showcased each year at the Game Awards.

Grand Theft Auto VI Will Have Two Protagonists

Rockstar Games has been working on GTA 6 for a long time, and it is one of the most anticipated games of all time. Last year, footage from the game leaked on the internet, forcing Rockstar to acknowledge the game’s presence publicly.

This led to the arrest of a teenage British hacker, the mastermind of the massive breach in Rockstar’s internal Slack server.GTA 6 will feature two protagonists, Jason and Lucia, inspired by Bonnie and Clyde. It will also be the first Grand Theft Auto Game with a female protagonist.

The massive open-world title has a Miami-like setting similar to GTA: Vice City. GTA 6 will likely launch between April 2024 and March 2025, with publisher Take-Two expecting significant profits during the fiscal year.

Grand Theft Auto V made its debut a decade ago, in 2013, with a launch on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The title has seen its release across three console generations, selling more than 185 million copies.
