It has been a forum for young people seeking reliable information about sex, sexuality, and sexual health since the chatbot’s first release in 2019. However, to avoid online child sexual abuse and assault, SnehAI 3.0 will now concentrate on information based on the current need of the hour: how young people may securely surf the internet.

Poonam Muttreja, the Executive Director of the Population Foundation of India, stated, “The internet is frequently lauded for its possibilities for education and democratisation of information. But, sadly, it has also become a place of exploitation and abuse that supports and amplifies offline crime.”

The content is geared at children, yet it has just as much value for adults. The chatbot also gives phone numbers to individuals in need of aid. “We have had a longtime partnership with Population Foundation of India to encourage women’s empowerment at MARD, which refers for Men Against Rape and Discrimination,” Akhtar remarked.
