POCO India has started teasing two new smartphones, sparking fresh speculation about the company’s next major launch. The teasers strongly point towards the brand’s popular X series, making the POCO X series leaks even more interesting.
While POCO has not revealed the model names or launch date yet, the upcoming phones could be the rumoured POCO X8 5G and POCO X8 Power 5G. So, here is all you need to know about the specs of this series' phones.
POCO X Series Leaks: India Teases Two New X Series Phones
POCO shared multiple teasers as part of its eighth birthday celebrations. The company repeatedly highlighted the letter “X” in words such as “eXpectations”, “fleXing”, “eXpanding” and “eXplosive”. This appears to be a clear hint that two new X series smartphones are on the way.

The teasers also show a smartphone with a flat rear panel, rounded corners and two vertically placed camera rings. Another teaser shows two smartphone silhouettes with messages suggesting that something powerful is coming soon.
POCO has not confirmed the names, specifications or exact launch date. However, the company says its “takeover” will happen sooner than expected.
POCO X8 5G And X8 Power 5G Could Be Coming
Earlier, tipster Yogesh Brar claimed that POCO could launch the X8 5G and X8 Power 5G in India in early September. The latest teasers appear to support those claims.

The X8 Power 5G is expected to sit below the POCO X8 Pro, while the standard X8 5G could be the most affordable model of the trio. POCO has yet to confirm these details, but the latest teasers suggest an official announcement may not be far away.
