The Redmi K40 series is now out in China. However, it looks like the device will launch globally as a Poco 5G phone. It is reportedly on a listing found on a certification website. A report is suggesting that it may not launch as a Redmi phone in other regions. Because a phone with Poco branding with the same model number is surfacing online. However, this is not the first time the company is rebranding its phone to a Poco.

The Redmi K40 will come with four rear camera modules, but we don’t know more about its exact configuration. We’re probably looking at a 64MP primary sensor, an ultra-wide-angle lens, a macro lens, and a depth sensor.  Connectivity features on both phones will include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. It is tipped to offer a 4,500mAh battery and runs on Android 11 based on MIUI 12 or MIUI 12.5 on top.
