Vivo is all set to launch the Vivo Y100 in India. The company has already confirmed the design of the upcoming mid-range handset. However, ahead of the official launch, the marketing material of the Vivo Y100 5G has leaked online, revealing its design and specifications. As per the company claims the smartphone will come with a colour-changing back panel as seen in the Vivo V25 series.
Moreover, the leaks surfacing online hint at the possible specifications of the upcoming handset. Also, tipster Abhishek Yadav, reveals that the smartphone will cost Rs 24,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant. Vivo Y100 5G: Specifications (Expected)
According to The TechOutlook, the upcoming handset will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC and up to 8GB of RAM. Moreover, the company will also offer Extended RAM support (up to 8GB) in its latest Y-series smartphone. It will feature a 6.38-inch 90Hz AMOLED display. The handset will be available in three colour options — Twilight Gold, Pacific Blue, and Metal Black. Its Twilight Gold and Pacific Blue colour options will feature a Fluorite AG Glass finish colour changing back. Moreover, the rear panel has a flat, and dual-tone design.
Furthermore, the top portion of the rear panel has a glossy finish, whereas the remaining part seems to have a matte texture. The handset will likely come with a triple-camera setup, along with an LED flash. It will feature a 64-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) along with a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Additionally, it will also feature a 50-megapixel selfie camera. The handset has an IP54 rating for basic dust and water resistance. It offers a 4,500mAh battery along with 44W fast charging support. Lastly, the handset comes with an HDR10+ certification and support for Hi-Res Audio. However, the company is yet to confirm or reveal the specifications of the upcoming handset.
