Xiaomi 12T Pro Design
The Xiaomi 12T Pro successfully simulates a high-end smartphone down to the last detail owing to the inclusion of glass on both the front and backside. The polycarbonate body isn’t as sturdy, but it still manages to appear neat and clean owing to the lack of logos on the back and the almost bezel-less display on the front. Not only is the top-centre punch-hole camera for taking selfies completely unobtrusive, but the side bezels aren’t exactly razor-thin, either.
The anti-glare coating Xiaomi applied to the back glass effectively prevents fingerprints, and the smartphone isn’t as slippery as others made of glass. It’s not quite featherweight at 205 grams, but it’s manageable with one hand and not too big to risk dropping. Unlike many of its (albeit more expensive) competitors, it lacks an IP classification for water resistance.
The construction is in line with that of other reasonably priced flagships, while it isn’t quite as high-end as the more costly options from brands like Motorola and Samsung.
Xiaomi 12T Pro Display
Flat screens have a large and enthusiastic following of their own, which is included on the Xiaomi 12T Pro, and it is an expansive 6.67-in AMOLED display that is easy on the eyes. High contrast levels and vivid colours do credit to amateur streaming. The Xiaomi 12T Pro’s maximum brightness option of 900 nits won’t compete with the greatest smartphone displays, but it’s still readable outside in the daylight. Touches and whacks feel as immediate as they should owing to the 480Hz touch responsiveness and the broad viewing angles.
The 12T Pro is pre-configured with a dynamic refresh rate that may increase to 120Hz for rapid motion and descend to 30Hz for native support.
Xiaomi 12T Pro Performance
Based on Qualcomm’s cutting-edge Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, the Xiaomi 12T Pro offers cutting-edge performance. Because of its powerful CPU, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of built-in storage, the Xiaomi 12T Pro operates really quickly and without any hitches or downturns at all. The phone’s speed is more than sufficient to handle whatever you can throw at it.
The Xiaomi 12T Pro utilizes Android 12, on top of which is MIUI 13. Better memory management, CPU usage, and efficient storage use are just a few of the enhancements you can look forward to with the new MIUI 13.
Xiaomi 12T Pro Camera
Despite the ultrawide and macro cameras on the Xiaomi 12T Pro having far fewer pixels, we are anticipating great results owing to the device’s 200MP primary sensor. They are the only genuine indicators that the Xiaomi 12T Pro is a mid-range device and not a true flagship, with 8MP and 2MP resolutions respectively.
Xiaomi can still bring things under control with good picture processing, and the primary lens can be used as a 2x optical amplification by pinching the sensor. It’s possible that nighttime performance might benefit greatly from optical picture stabilization and an improved low-light mode. The front-facing 20-megapixel camera seems to take decent photos
Xiaomi 12T Pro Battery
Xiaomi’s lamentably proprietary but undeniably excellent 120W HyperCharge technology, together with the 5,000 mAh battery, provides decent battery life and lightning-fast charging. You receive the adapter and charging cable in the retail package
Xiaomi 12T Pro verdict
The Xiaomi 12T Pro is not an upgrade, but rather a more affordable and widely available alternative to the Xiaomi 12 Pro that sacrifices some cutting-edge features in the process. However, the first observations suggest that the purchase is well worth it for the functionality and screen quality alone.
