What Is One UI 9.0?
One UI 9.0 is Samsung’s latest version of its Android-based software. It is built on Android 17. Samsung’s beta programme started with the Galaxy S26 series in May 2026.

Yes. Samsung also supports software updates through Smart Switch on a Windows PC or Mac.
First, install Samsung Smart Switch on your computer. Then connect your Galaxy phone to the computer using a USB cable and launch Smart Switch. If a newer software version is available for your phone, Smart Switch can show an update option. Smart Switch can prompt users when a software update is available.
