According to reports, iQOO is working on the iQOO Z5x smartphone, which is expected to be released this month. JD.com, a Chinese retailing website, listed a product page last week. The device’s specifications were not revealed in the listing. However, an IMEI database listing for an upcoming Vivo phone with model number V2131A indicated that it will likely be known as the iQOO Z5x when it hits the market. Now, a Chinese insider has shared some details about the Z5x’s processor and fast charging capabilities.

iQOO Z5x Tipped Specifications
The iQOO Z5x is the most likely name for the upcoming smartphone with the V2131AA model number. It will most likely join the iQOO Z5, which was just released in China followed by its India launch. The iQOO Z5x has sparked a never-ending stream of rumours and leaks. The fact that it was later discovered on certification websites and in Google Play Console only adds to the case. A Chinese source has recently provided key hardware information, confirming some previously speculated specifications.

The upcoming iQOO Z5x will be driven by the Dimensity 900 chipset and will support 44W fast charging, according to the tipster (via GizmoChina). The upcoming iQOO phone featuring MediaTek’s Dimensity 900 processor was also included in the Google Console listing. This could indicate that the iQOO Z5x will be priced lower than the iQOO Z5; which is powered on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G processor. However, there is no sign that the device will be coming to India.
According to the Play Console listing, the iQOO Z5x’s display may include a centrally located punch-hole. It’s unclear whether it’ll have the same 6.67-inch IPS LCD FHD+ 120Hz panel as the iQOO Z5. The rumour mill has yet to reveal anything about its cameras. The Z5x is rumoured to come with 8 GB of RAM and Android 11 OS.
