With technology evolving, the smartphone industry has been testing several features to bring a revolution in the market. One such feature is the Virtual RAM. Recently, Oppo unveiled its similar Virtual RAM feature. Going on the very same lines, Realme is on its way to bring Virtual RAM into its system too. Realme has announced that it will be releasing the feature under the name “Dynamic RAM” for its phones through an OTA update.
For the unversed, Virtual RAM gives smartphone users the feature to allocate a portion of the internal memory and tag it for RAM usage. This helps users to multitask better and also have a smooth experience as the system now has more RAM. This increase in RAM can help to install and run heavy memory apps without a hiccup.
Realme already issued this particular upgrade for the Realme 8 and is said to be actively working on bringing virtual RAM for its other phones. An entire list of Realme devices has been reported which are in queue for getting the Dynamic RAM Expansion.
This new feature will be updated through OTA in the near future. However, the report doesn’t have dates associated to confirm when these phones will get the update. The new firmware update carries the version number RMX3085_11.A.19 and brings 2GB of Dynamic RAM support.
Which Realme phones will receive the update?
The Realme phones that will be getting the virtual RAM feature include the Realme X7 series, X50 Series, 7 Series, 6 Series, Narzo 30 series, Narzo 20, Q3 Series, Q2 series, V3, V5, V15 and the Realme GT Series. Though there has been no time specification as to when the devices might get an update, but it might not be far away.
Several devices like the Realme Narzo 30 4G variant already received the update back in July. Next Realme X7 Max 5G received this feature. Now, Realme has released the RAM expansion a.k.a Dynamic RAM Expansion feature for the Realme 8 5G smartphone.
