Realme is preparing for yet another launch event. In India, the company recently launched the Realme GT series and the Realme Book Slim. It will introduce new budget handsets in India. The Realme 8s 5G and the Realme 8i will be unveiled during the Oppo spin-off brand’s event on September 9. Realme will also launch the Realme Pad, the company’s first tablet, at the event. Several teasers have been released by the company, indicating various key features of the upcoming tablet. Flipkart has confirmed that the smartphone would be available before the official launch. Realme Pad Launch in India Confirmed

On September 9, Realme will unveil its first tablet in India. In India, the Realme Pad will be available alongside the Realme 8s and Realme 8i. After the launch, Realme’s new tablet will be available for purchase on Flipkart. Realme has begun teasing the tablet’s main features ahead of its launch.

One of the most recent teases showcased the tablet’s slim profile. It has a slim and light design, according to reports. The tablet measures 6.9mm thick, according to the Flipkart microsite.

Leaked Specifications

Realme’s tablet will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, according to a recent leak. The tablet is expected to include a 10.4-inch AMOLED display as well. The display will be bordered by slightly thick black bezels.

The Realme tab is rumoured to have an 8MP f/2.8 sensor on the front and back for optics. The only change is that the front camera would have a fixed focus, whereas the back camera will feature auto-focus. When held vertically, the Realme Pad has a camera sensor on the right edge (or top-edge when placed horizontally).

On one side of the frame, it has a power button and two speakers. The USB Type-C port and two additional speakers are on the other side. It also features a little cutout at the bottom where the stylus is likely to be kept. The camera module is next to the volume rocker, which is positioned on the frame.

A 7,100 mAh battery with fast charging capability, a 6GB + 64GB storage option, and WiFi-only/LTE variants are among the other features.  Realme will reveal further details at the launch on September 9.
