Apple’s much-awaited tracking device called Apple AirTag is now official. This launched at Apple’s Spring Loaded event on Tuesday along with other products. Moreover, Apple announced a new Purple color variant for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini. This tracker is a small and elegant accessory that helps keep track of and find the items that matter most with Apple’s Find My app. In addition, Apple AirTag claims to offer precise distance with visual, audio, and haptic feedback.

Price in India
It will be available starting at $29. Users who buy a pack of four will need to pay only $99. Moreover, pre-orders will begin this Friday, April 23. In Indian pricing, Apple AirTag will be Rs. 3,190 for one and Rs. 10,900 for a four-pack. It will go on sale from April 30.
Furthermore, there are also Hermes edition accessories that it can be carried in.

Apple AirTags: Specifications
It comes with a U1 chip that uses Ultra-Wideband technology to enable ‘Precision Finding’ for iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 users. This Precision Finding is said to fuse input from the camera, ARKit, accelerometer, and gyroscope. In addition, it will guide them to AirTag using a combination of sound, haptics, and visual feedback. The tracker also uses audible beeps to help users track their items.

The company claims that the AirTag tracker will provide a whole year of battery life. Using the Find My application on the iPhone, iPad, or any other device, Apple AirTag users will be able to locate their belongings easily. However, it does not store any location data or history inside the device. Moreover, it uses end-to-end encryption for communications between an AirTag and the Find My network.
Other features of Apple AirTag include NFC, Bluetooth LE, an accelerometer, Siri support, and accessibility feature for blind or low-vision users.
