Apple iPhone SE (2020) top-of-the-line storage option is not available in India. The 256GB storage variant is now discontinued and no longer listing on Apple’s online store. Earlier, it launched in three available storage options – 64GB, 128GB, 256GB – last year. The premium 256GB variant is no longer available just days after iPhone 13 launch. Meanwhile, the company discontinued the iPhone XR, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max models in the country.

To recall, the 256GB storage variant of the iPhone SE was previously available for ₹54,900. Interestingly, one can now get the iPhone 11 128GB variant for this same price.

On the other hand, other retailer sites still have the Apple iPhone SE (2020) 256GB storage option up for purchase. However, this is likely till stocks last. Flipkart has listed the 256GB storage option for ₹47,999. There is up to ₹15,000 off on exchange.

Meanwhile, some reports suggest that the company is planning to launch a new-gen iPhone SE in 2020. It can most likely launch in the first half of the next year. Although this is just speculation with any confirmation. Whereas, another reason can be the ongoing global chip shortage affecting the smartphone industry. Again, there is no evidence or confirmation as such.
