iPhone SE 3 Specifications Tipped, Can Debut In 2022

Earlier there were rumors that the iPhone SE 3 could launch in 2021. However, it looks like these rumors are just that and leaks suggest it can launch sometime in 2022. According to renowned tipster Ross Young, it will ship with the age-old 4.7-inch LCD panel. On the other hand, he also says that the refreshed version in 2023 can come with bigger screen size and a punch-hole design.

He also claims that iPhone SE 3 may offer 5G connectivity with support for both the sub-6GHz network as well as mmWave technology. In addition to all of these, the 2023 version can have a 6.1-inch screen size. It will also herald in a new era of iPhones with a hole-punch selfie camera, instead of a notched one. However, the question of its specs remaining the same as its predecessors still remain.

Considering the leaks, the design details of the iPhone SE 3 are unclear as of now. Although a leaked concept renders suggest it will feature a punch-hole cut-out, slim bezels, and a metal-glass body. It is tipped to sport a 4.7-inch Full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) LCD screen, whereas the 2023 model will have a 6.1-inch display.

Furthermore, there are speculations that iPhone SE 3 can pack a single 12MP rear camera and a 12MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Both the cameras are likely to support 4K video recording at up to 60fps. Moreover, it will be powered by an A14 Bionic chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

In terms of connectivity, the device should offer support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, 5G, NFC, and a Lightning port. However, one should take this information with a pinch of salt as they are just speculations. c
