Polls Coming Soon To WhatsApp Channels

According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on adding the polls feature to Channels. Admins of WhatsApp channels can share these polls to make the experience more interactive and fun.

Furthermore, there will also be an option to restrict users to choosing a single option in the poll, similar to chats and groups. All votes in the poll will remain anonymous, protecting the participants’ privacy. This means that your phone number will not be disclosed to the channel admin and its followers.

Adding polls will help channels become more interactive compared to emoji reactions, as users will get more options. It will also help admins know their followers better and curate better content for them. The feature is currently in the testing phase and will likely arrive in a future WhatsApp update.
