Xiaomi has teased the launch of its next flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 15, next month. The company recently unveiled the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro with a new MediaTek chipset. Furthermore, Xiaomi now plans to unveil its next generation of flagship phones- the Xiaomi 15 series soon. These will include the Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi 15 Pro and the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. All three phones will use the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Here is everything you need to know about these phones.
Xiaomi 15 Series To Launch On October 23
Xiaomi flagship phones are known to launch with the best chipsets, and many anticipated that the 15 series will arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. However, a new teaser by the company revealed the phones will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite, possibly a rename of the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.

Qualcomm currently offers Snapdragon X Elite laptops, which are Windows laptops that perform toe-to-toe with MacBooks. The Xiaomi 15 series will launch on October 23, 2024, and Qualcomm could announce its new Snapdragon 8 Elite before this date.
Furthermore, the Snapdragon 8 Elite will be the chipmaker’s first processor based on a 3nm architecture, offering a massive performance upgrade over the 8 Gen 3. This processor could offer a clock speed of 3.53GHz, and the Adreno 830 GPU with a 1GHz clock speed.

The Xiaomi 15 series will offer significant upgrades over its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14 series. With a 2K OLED micro curved display with 120Hz refresh and ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, it is undoubtedly a delight for binge watchers.
The phones will also boast a Leica-branded triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary, 50-megapixel ultrawide, and 50-megapixel telephoto with 5x zoom. The Xiaomi 15 series will launch with a 6,000mAh battery with 90W charging support and an IP69 rating.
