Xiaomi launched the Mi Pad 5 series in China back in August this year. Whereas, a launch event is happening on September 15, 2021. However, there is no official confirmation from the company’s side of things. The tablet has appeared across multiple certification websites in the recent past. Moreover, various leaks and reports have revealed quite a bit about the upcoming tablet already.

Now it looks like the Xiaomi Pad 5 global model has appeared on Geekbench. The Geekbench listing confirms that the global variant will have similar specifications to that of the China variant. Let us look at the listing below:
Xiaomi Pad 5 Global Launch Imminent
According to the Geekbench listing, the global model features model number 21051182G. Moreover, it has managed to score 781 and 2800 points in the single-core and multi-core tests respectively. It also looks like the specs of the global variant will remain the same as that of the China variant.
This listing confirms it will feature a Snapdragon 860 chipset and 6GB of RAM. On the software side of things, the Xiaomi Pad 5 will run Android 11 out of the box with MIUI 12.5 on top. Although this Geekbench listing hints at an imminent launch of the tablet globally.

To recall, it features a large 11-inch LCD display. Additionally, the display comes with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. Moreover, the tablet display also comes with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. We can also see HDR10 certification and TrueTone alongside Dolby Vision support on the tablet’s display.

In terms of optics, the Xiaomi Pad 5 sports a dual-camera setup which consists of a 13MP primary main camera and a 5MP secondary lens. The selfie camera will feature a 5MP camera. It will also pack an 8,720 mAh battery which fuels the Xiaomi Pad 5 along with the 33W fast charging support. The tablet packs 6GB of RAM and is available in 128GB/256GB storage configuration. Connectivity-wise it has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
