    Google Opens Voting For Users’ Choice Awards 2020

    Google has opened voting for its Users’ Choice Awards’ 2020 finally. This allows users to vote for their favorite apps from different categories.

    The Google Users’ Choice Awards 2020 allows users to vote from a variety of shortlisted apps and games until November 23. According to a report, voting for the Best Book and Movie categories have also started. Moreover, the winners from each category will be announced on December 1.

    There are 10 shortlisted nominees in each category. Besides, these apps seem to be country based and are hence, localized. You can vote by just tapping on the banner announcing the Users’ Choice Awards 2020 on Google Play Store’s homepage.

    The shortlisted apps for the Users’ Choice App 2020 in India include:

    • Bolkar App
    • Koo
    • Moj
    • MX TakaTak
    • Pratilipi FM
    • Reface
    • Dolby On
    • Microsoft Office
    • Zelish
    • Vita 

    Furthermore, Google also noted that users should vote for the must-try new apps of this year from this category.

    Moreover, for the Users’ Choice Game 2020 Award, users are encouraged to vote for this year’s trending games. The shortlisted games include:

    • Grand Hotel Mania
    • Farm City
    • Cooking Sizzle
    • EverMerge
    • Cell to Singularity
    • Legends of Runeterra
    • World Cricket Championship 3
    • Manor Matters
    • Dream League Soccer
    • Teamfight Tactics

    Also, note that you can only vote once in each category from the shortlisted apps on the Google Play Store.

    Additionally, a disclaimer on Google Play states that you may not be able to see all the titles in the collection. Now, this is because you probably have parental controls turned on. Besides, if a game or app is not compatible with your device, you may face this situation. Moreover, you also need to log in to your Google Play Store in order to vote.

    Google Users’ Choice Awards 2020: Books And Movies Category

    Additionally, a report by 9to5Google also notes that Google Play has opened voting for Books and Movies as well. However, the award category and list of options are only for US users. Furthermore, the shortlisted books are:

    • Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art
    • Me & White Supremacy
    • Mexican Gothic
    • The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes
    • The Vanishing Half
    • Untamed
    • Wow
    • No Thank You
    • Midnight Sun
    • Harrow the Ninth

    The shortlisted movies include:

    • Bad Boys for Life
    • Bill & Ted Face the Music
    • Birds Of Prey And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn
    • Bloodshot
    • Frozen II
    • Just Mercy
    • Knives Out
    • Parasite
    • The Invisible Man
    • Trolls World Tour.

    Video Editor – Glitch Video Effects was nominated as the Users’ Choice Award for the best app in 2019. On the other hand, Call of Duty: Mobile had won in the best game category last year.
