CMF by Nothing is planning to introduce its first smartphone in India, the CMF Phone (1). The Nothing sub-brand is known for offering cheaper products with a new design and distinct visual identity. Furthermore, a new leak revealed details about the upcoming CMF Phone (1), which will be a rebrand of an existing phone by the company. Here is everything you need to know about the device.

A leak by a user, MlgmXyysd, on X (Formerly Twitter) has revealed the complete specifications of the CMF Phone (1). Furthermore, the phone will be a rebrand of Nothing Phone (2a) with some minor changes.

Phone (1) Specifications

According to the leak, the CMF Phone (1) will feature a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will rely on the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 series (MT6866), the same processor as the Phone (2a) paired with 8GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the phone will run on Nothing OS 2.6, based on Android 14, and offer Widevine L1 support. It will be available in two variants: 128GB and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which can be further expanded via a microSD card.

For optics, you get a 50-megapixel primary camera and another secondary sensor in vertical orientation. In addition, you can expect a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The CMF Phone (1) will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. For connectivity, it will offer Wi-Fi 6, LTE 4×4 MIMO, and Bluetooth 5.3; however, it will miss out on NFC and Glyph lighting.

Pricing And Availability

The tipster also reveals that the CMF Phone (1) will offer replaceable plastic back covers, a rarity in this modern era of glass slab phones. Furthermore, users can expect a Nothing Lock mechanism to enable add-on accessories on the phone.

The CMF Phone (1) will debut in July this year with an expected price of 249 USD (Rs.20,735) to 279 USD (Rs.23,234). Furthermore, it will be available in Black, Green, Blue and Orange colours, with the orange one being exclusive to India.
