Motorola has launched their revamped version of the budget Moto G Stylus in the US. The revamped version is named the Moto G Stylus 5G and is the first budget smartphone with a stylus to come with 5G support. The smartphone comes with similar specifications as the vanilla Moto G Stylus. However, there are notable differences in the processor, battery and of course the 5G connectivity in place of 4G.
Moto G Stylus 5G Price And Availability
Motorola has launched the Stylus 5G as a budget stylus phone with 5G. Therefore, it is not aggressively priced like most 5G stylus devices in the market. The Moto G Stylus 5G price in the US has been set at $399. This converts to near about Rs. 29,000. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 comes with a price tag of $999, with a stylus. So, in that case, it is definitely a significantly cheaper 5G phone with stylus. However, the India launch and availability of the device is still under wraps.
Moto G Stylus 5G Specifications
The Moto G Stylus 5G features the same 6.8-inch FHD+ Max Vision Display. Moreover, it is a punch hole display as well, placed at the top left corner of the screen. The smartphone runs on Android 11 with the My UX custom skin on top.
When it comes to the processor, there is an improvement over the 4G variant. The Moto G Stylus 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G SoC. Additionally, this octa-core chipset is paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is another variant which comes with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the internal storage on the device is expandable up to 1TB via a MicroSD card slot.
For photos and videos, the Moto G Stylus 5G phone features a triple rear camera setup. The setup is slightly different too. Like the 4G version, it comes with a 48-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle sensor. However, the 2-megapixel macro sensor on the 4G version is replaced by a 5-megapixel one. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
Lastly, the Moto G Stylus 5G packs a massive and better 5000mAh battery. However, it does not come with better charging capabilities and the phone sticks to the 10W charging that the 4G version came with.
Additionally, the Moto G Stylus 5G camera is packed with a ton of features like the spot color photo feature which applies to videos too. This allows users to record a particular video and keep just one color visible whereas the rest are black and white. Moreover, there is a Dual Capture feature which allows users to record from both sides of the phone simultaneously. Also, the stylus allows users to have an accurate experience alongside carrying out a bunch of different tasks with ease.
