    OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro Specs Leaks on Geekbench


    The Geekbench benchmarking website has revealed new details about the upcoming OnePlus 9 devices.

    Highlights of the Story

    • OnePlus 9 series handset is tipped to pack 8GB of RAM.
    • This listing could be of the OnePlus 9 or OnePlus 9 Pro.
    • The series is tipped to have a 144Hz display refresh rate.

    It looks like OnePlus is working on a number of launches for the upcoming year. After appearing in several leaks, the OnePlus 9 makes a mark on Geekbench with some of its specifications. Moreover, this listing comes with the model number LuBan LE2117 which is associated with the new series.

    However, it is unclear whether it is the OnePlus 9 or the 9 Pro as there is no confirmation. It can launch sometime next year. If the company follows the old tradition, the launch will take place around May 2021.

    On the other hand, past leaks say that the OnePlus 9 will be available with model numbers LE2110, LE2117, and LE2119. Whereas, the OnePlus9 Pro is in the works with model numbers LE2120 and LE2127. However, the same source leaked other model numbers. We cannot be sure which one will the phone be.

    However, the model number LE2117 belongs to the upcoming OnePlus flagship series. We are not sure if it is allocated to the OnePlus 9 or the OnePlus9 Pro cannot be speculated as of now. In any event, the listing suggests that the series will run on Android 11.

    The Geekbench listing also suggests that the OnePlus 9 series phone will be powered by a processor codenamed ‘lahaina’.  A Weibo user has analyzed the benchmark listing a bit further to claim that it is Snapdragon 875 SoC. It is also listed to pack 8GB of RAM. The phone received a single-core score of 1,122 and a multi-core score of 2,733.

    On the other hand, previous reports say that this series may have a 144Hz display with a center-aligned hole-punch cut out, an IP68-certified build, NFC support, and dual stereo speakers. It could also offer 65W fast wired and 40W wireless charging technologies.
